The NEWBL Challenge Cup first round was completed last week with a mixed bag of results. Denbigh v Llanferres A and Prestatyn A vs Flint Phoenix were pretty close matches overall. In other matches there were some really close, high scoring games which weren\u2019t reflected in the final scores.\u00a0 Results below.<\/div>\n
The NEWBL Cup Committee have confirmed their offer to review handicaps after the first round. It\u2019s the first full season after the long break, there has been a large migration of players from one club to another, some clubs have lost key players, others have gained. They\u2019ve contacted all clubs to request updates of ranked players and those out through injury.<\/div>\n
